I lied a bit when I called this article “Cheap hotels in Mogilev”. In fact, there will be everything: hotels, apartments, and even “people’s storage rooms” where you can spend the night for three kopecks.
There will also be hotels with above-average prices in this selection. But Mogilev is an inexpensive city. Therefore, even cool eco-hotels and SPA complexes are cheaper here than in Minsk, Grodno or Brest.
In general, let’s figure it out. I will tell you where you can spend the night in Mogilev. And you can decide for yourself what is more important to you – the price or the quality of service.
Three inexpensive hotels in the center of Mogilev
Let’s start with them, since everything is quite simple here. They have only two advantages – it’s the price and location. The rooms are all quite modest. But if you just need an inexpensive hotel in the center of Mogilev, then pay attention to this couple:
- The Kim Hotel (Lazarenko str., 27/1.3 kilometers from Mogilev City Hall);
- Hotel «Tourist» (Pushkin Avenue, 6/1.6 km from the town Hall);
Another good option is a three–star hotel “Mogilev“. The city center is 1.4 km away. Pets are allowed. You can check the exact prices and book a room here.
Apartments with prices below hotel prices
In my opinion, this is the best option in terms of price/quality ratio. Approximately for 50-70 BYN in Mogilev, you can rent an excellent apartment a few stops from the center. For example…
A nice studio on Grunwald Street (next to the Park City shopping center). A good option for couples and solo travelers.
Another apartment on Kosmonavtov Street. The interior is beautiful, the reviews are good, the price is adequate. The center is one bus stop away. Suitable for 2-3 people.
Many other apartment options can be found here on this site, as well as on various sites with private ads (such as REALT.BY , Kufar and Domovita). Apartments are the cheapest here. But you will have to negotiate with the owner directly.
Mogilev’s best hotel
It’s me about him. I came to the city three times for this hotel! It has its own SPA complex (included in the price), a swimming pool, a sauna gallery, a beautiful restaurant and rooms with panoramic views of the city. In general, it is a great place.
The cost of rooms is 210 BYN. For a 4-star hotel, this is a good price tag. There are similar hotels in Minsk (“Beijing” or “Renaissance”) they cost 2.5 times more expensive.
Mogilev’s best country hotel
And this is an option for those who would like to relax in nature. Here, take a look… A very beautiful eco-friendly hotel next to the lake and surrounded by a pine forest. The Standard room costs 130 BYN per day. The city is 15 minutes away by car. Therefore, it is also quite suitable for exploring Mogilev.
Externally, the complex is somewhat similar to the Minsk eco-hotel “Shishki”. But it costs almost three times (!) cheaper.
Hostels in Mogilev and a bit of Belarusian exoticism
I found information on the Internet about three Mogilev hostels, but I could only really get through to one. It is called “Zaslonova 27” and, as you might guess, it is located at this address. The complex has rooms for 6-8 and 10 people. The cost of a bed is 17 BYN, but (!) you can only book a place by phone (8-0222-64-31-15). For foreigners, of course, this is not very convenient.
Another option for budget travelers is the rest rooms of the local railway station.
You will also have to book a place in this paradise of railway workers by phone (+375 222) 39-26-36. And you can look through the photos of the rooms here (on the “Rest Rooms” tab). At the moment, 1 bed in a room for 2 people costs here 36 BYN. Yes, there is a possibility that a lone conductor will be assigned to you. But in practice, there are usually few guests there.
Afterword
That’s all. At the very end, I remind you that I have many other useful articles about Mogilev.
- Here I told about the history of the city and its attractions;
- And here wrote about what to do in the city of M. (I personally like the second article more).
I also have a little guide to the beautiful establishments of the city. From it you will learn where the best smazhenki are prepared in Mogilev, and where free coffee is poured. In general, do not switch channels. I have a lot of interesting things here.
