I lied a bit when I called this article “Cheap hotels in Minsk“. In fact, there will be everything here – both very budget hotels and options from the middle price segment. Let’s get started, and we’ll figure it out as we go along. Today I will show you which hotels can be rented in the Belarusian capital for 47-75 BYN per day.
Sport time/IT time
These are two different hotels. But they look like the Ponomarenko brothers. Both are located on the outskirts of the city (quite far from the metro). The rooms are neat everywhere, but without any special frills. For photos and room rates, see the links below.
- IT Time Hotel (1.5 kilometers from Borisovsky Trakt metro station);
- and Sport Time Hotel (near Minsk Arena).
You can also enter the promo code TP-Anton when booking. In this case, the hotel will fall in price by 12%.
As for me personally, I would choose “Sport Time” from two options. There’s the Minsk Arena and the Lebyazhy Water park nearby. And the city center can be reached in 15 minutes by bus (No. 1 or 119c).
“Shower on the floor” but in the very center
If you fundamentally want to live somewhere closer to the tourist quarters of Minsk, then pay attention to the guest house “Nemiga”.
The room has a bed, a TV and a bedside table. Shower and kitchen on the floor. Right outside the door is the Nemiga metro station and all the most popular tourist locations in the city.
The cheapest hotel in Minsk
The record holder of our list is a hotel with a strange name “KADM” (don’t even ask me what that means). You can rent a room here for 60 BYN. Only hostels are cheaper than it (and even that is not a fact).
For this money, the receptionist promised me a 2-bed room with amenities over the phone. But there are also cheaper rooms without toilets and showers for 47 byn per day.
On Google, I found this comment about her about the KADM hotel. I think he’s very revealing.
The address of the hotel: Uborevicha 128/2. Nearby are McDonald’s, zoo and Chizhovka Arena. But you will have to get to the center from here for about an hour. Trolleybus No. 16 runs to the station. To Partizanskaya metro stationTrolleybus No. 17 and bus No. 59.

Chizhovka Hotel
Another option for the most undemanding. In addition to the bed, the room has towels, a kettle, a table, a TV, hangers, a mirror and a washbasin. There is a swimming pool and sauna on the ground floor. But you can get there for an additional fee. You can view all the details here. “White Swan on the pond” and a little more about sports
Two more cheap hotels in Minsk are located near the metro station “Academy of Sciences”. These are:
- The Sport Hotel, at Ya.35 Kolasa Street.
- and Akademicheskaya Hotel, at 7 Surganova Street.

The rooms in both are very different (from single to six-bed rooms). Prices start from 80 BYN. The Akademicheskaya Hotel will also give guests a 50% discount on visiting the Botanical Park. How much you want to look at the flowers and swans – you already think for yourself.
Overall, both hotels are pretty good. There is a metro nearby, so you can get to the city center in 15 minutes. There are Terra Pizza and Cornflowers chain cafes within walking distance. There is also a Freestyle water park nearby and the Hero Park trampoline center, where I often go with my daughter. If you are traveling with a child, I recommend that you take a look there.

Online Hostel
A neat hostel near the same metro station (“Academy of Sciences”). There are dormitories for 8 people for solo travelers. For couples, private rooms with a double bed (though without a private bathroom).

Another hostel in Minsk
And if you need an even cheaper option, then pay attention to CUBA hostel. It is located on the outskirts of the city in an ordinary Soviet-era high-rise building. But even individual rooms here are quite inexpensive.
To the nearest metro station (Kamennaya Gorka)10 minutes by bus. There are several inexpensive cafes nearby, and a little further there is a forest and a field. Rooms are rented for at least 2 nights. All the details can be viewed here.
BONUS. Apartments for a day
In Belarus, there are several websites with private ads where you can rent an apartment for a day inexpensively. For example, kufar.by or realt.by . The prices there are quite adequate, so you can give them a chance. A simple apartment on the outskirts of the city can be found for 60 byn per day.
